AI lullabies, magnesium mocktails & a vitamin dome you can walk inside

Your weekly dose of what's hot, what's healing, and what's actually worth leaving the house for!

Hey Wellness Besties,

We all know how incredible living in Dubai is - sunshine, brunches, beach days, instashop - but one thing we just can’t hack is the air quality. So after a few of those hazy, throat tickling days last week, we decided it was time for a little wellness intervention. We rounded up a few of our favourite products that help us breathe a bit easier and support our bodies when the air outside isn’t doing us many favours.

Now, not everything on the list is a fancy gadget. Think snake plants (nature’s own air purifiers), neti pots for a quick nasal rinse, and even simple things like showering or changing clothes after being out in the smog. These small swaps can make a big difference.

And honestly, lets not forget the best air purifier is still nature itself - trees, wind, sunshine, the whole deal. But when stepping outside feels more “dust storm” than “deep breath”, there are tools that can help make your indoor space feel closer to the outdoors.

I know biohacking can sound a bit intense, and it gets a bit of a bad rap at times but oftentimes it’s just about getting back to nature - grounding, real sunlight, clean water, non toxic materials, and spaces that help your body relax rather than react. Our modern world might be a little extra in the toxin department, but the good news? We can be extra in the care department too.

And speaking of getting outside.. Our next Wellness Stroll will be Wednesday 26th November. Keep your eyes peeled to the ‘gram for the RSVP link and full details coming soon!

Here’s to breathing a little deeper, living a little cleaner, and supporting each other while we do it 🤍

With love (and clean air),

Womanly, Jumeirah 3- Dubai’s New Home for Feminine Wellbeing

If you’ve been looking for a space that finally gets it - the rhythms, realities, and rituals of being a woman - meet Womanly, the newest (and honestly, long-overdue) sanctuary in Dubai.

Founded by Laetitia, a lymphatic drainage expert with 15 years in global beauty and wellness, Womanly was shaped by real life: motherhood, intuition, recovery, and the need for a space where women could land softly and return to themselves. It’s the first destination of its kind here - created for women, by women.

Created for women, by women

💗 What Makes Womanly Special

Womanly brings everything a modern woman needs into one beautifully considered space - from feminine-focused movement classes (think Pilates, Barre, Functional Flow, and pre & postnatal) to deeply intuitive rituals like their signature lymphatic drainage and Green Peel facials (the perfect alternative to micro-needling). There’s immersive well-tech including the Light Room for LED therapy and the Dream Room for next-level nervous system reset, plus an infrared sauna to support recovery, hormones, and deeper rest.

Their café is crafted with intention - collagen lattes, adaptogenic blends, and nourishing sips designed to support hormones, mood, and steady energy. It’s also a space to linger: to sit, reconnect, and catch up with other women after class or treatment. And one detail we thought was genius: a dedicated baby-feeding room, making the space truly supportive of all phases of womanhood.

 Why We Love It

Because it’s a feminine-first approach to wellness that feels warm, grounding, and intuitive. It’s thoughtful, it’s elevated, and it’s exactly what Dubai was missing.

🎁 Competition Time

Womanly are gifting one lucky Wellness Drop bestie a Green Peel Facial - a natural, herbal peeling treatment that activates skin renewal without harsh acids or invasive methods. Just plant power, lymphatic stimulation, and a visible glow.

The 60-minute treatment includes: The Green Peel Their signature lymphatic drainage face massage A dreamy scalp massage.

💬 Fitness Influencers, It’s Time to Get Verified
From sketchy supplement tips to “miracle” workouts, wellness misinformation is everywhere. Active IQ’s new Trust Your Trainer campaign wants that to change — calling on TikTok and Meta to create a visible trust mark for qualified experts. The goal? Help users spot who’s credible, protect the public from unsafe advice, and give real professionals the recognition they deserve. Because having followers isn’t the same as having qualifications.
Bottom Line: The future of fitness advice might come with a check mark — and honestly, it’s about time. Followers don’t equal qualifications - and credibility should always count more than clicks.

🔮 TREND TO WATCH

💬 Clean vs. Clinical: The Next Beauty Shift
For years, “clean beauty” ruled the shelves — gentle ingredients, eco-friendly packaging, and the promise of purity over potency. But the tide is turning. A new clinical beauty wave is rising, swapping “free from” for “proven to work.” Consumers now want results they can measure, not just claims that sound good, and brands are responding with dermatologist-backed actives and science-driven formulas. Rather than replacing clean, clinical beauty is evolving it — merging transparency with tangible results. Think biotech ingredients, sleek lab-inspired packaging, and an emphasis on skin longevity over surface glow. Even clean pioneers are rebranding around evidence-based credibility.
Outtake: Clean beauty walked so clinical could run — expect more lab coats, fewer leafy logos, and a glow you can prove.

🍯 Honey vs Gels: The Sweet Surprise for Endurance Fuel
A new study on trained cyclists found that honey matched traditional carbohydrate gels for metabolic response, endurance performance, and gut tolerance during long steady state exercise. In other words, nature held its own against the lab. The only drawback? It is far less convenient to squeeze out mid-ride without coating yourself in a sugary glaze.
Outtake: Great on performance, questionable on convenience.
