From poop sensing toilets to goat cuddles and glow-ups — here’s what’s actually worth your wellness time this week. 🧻🐐💫

Your weekly dose of what's hot, what's healing, and what's actually worth leaving the house for!

Hi loves,

This week, we’ve been circling around a theme that keeps showing up — not just in our world, but in the wider wellness space too: integrity.

With big-name brands like David buying up key ingredients to block competitors, and others quietly sneaking in unlisted additives (👀 looking at you, LMNT + maltodextrin) and with a few reminders ourselves of what it feels like when others in the space take more than inspiration, it only serves to remind us that integrity matters. Always.

Because when wellness loses trust? We all lose.

In a landscape where misinformation can spread like a virus, click bait dominates and performative self care wins the algorithm, clarity is becoming a radical act. And in a space that’s starting to feel a little murky, it’s made us even more sure of what we’re building here.

With The Wellness Drop, our aim has always been to act with integrity — no gimmicks, no ego, just a genuine love for sharing what we’ve found helpful, healing, or hopeful in a world that often makes feeling good harder than it should be.

Right now, this platform isn’t monetised - it’s a passion project powered by two wellness nerds (hi there👋) who care deeply about cutting through the noise and spotlighting what actually has the potential to support wellbeing.

That said, we know that for it to grow sustainably, things might evolve — and if they do, we’ll always move forward with transparency. We’ll only ever share what we’ve tried, trusted, and truly believe will enrich your life and health - not add to the overwhelm.

Because clarity over confusion? That’s the kind of wellness we’re here for.

Okay, now that we’ve gotten that off our chest - let’s get into the good stuff. This week’s Drop is a juicy one... from poop-sensing toilets to AI workout buddies and a wellness farm with goats. Let’s dive straight in. 👇

With love — and zero shady additives,
Harriet & Katie
xoxo

P.S. Huge thanks to Venturi for the shoutout on Instagram this week — it’s so refreshing to see an electrolyte brand leading with integrity, transparency, and honesty, and being built from the ground up. Go show them some love — we need more of this in the wellness world. 💧⚡️❤️

📍 Paus Club - Umm Suqeim

Paus – “just a nice place.” A simple tagline for a space that speaks for itself. No frills, no fuss – just a beautifully authentic, effortless blend of movement, mindfulness, and community.

A stone’s throw from the OG Paus, the new Paus Club is bigger – but just as warm and welcoming. With yoga, reformer Pilates, candelit sound healing, padel courts, empowering workshops & connection mornings over Matcha – plus a soon-to-open eatery and spa – it’s elevating the wellness experience in all the right ways.

And if you’re staying in Dubai over the summer? This might just be your new haven.

🧻 Throne Seeks to Rule the Gut Health Kingdom
In what may be the most literal interpretation of “listen to your gut,” startup Throne has raised $4M in seed funding to bring real-time poop analysis to your bathroom. Their AI-powered, toilet-mounted device uses computer vision to scan stool for key biomarkers — aiming to detect early signs of chronic conditions like IBS, colitis, and kidney disease, and make personalised gut health as routine as your morning coffee.
Bottom line (pun v much intended): Your toilet might know more about your microbiome than your doctor soon. Long live the poop throne 👑💩

🐝 Welcome to Sweet Honey Farm: Where Wellness Gets Its Hands Dirty
Move over sleek spas and $28 smoothies — Sweet Honey Farm is flipping the script on what a wellness club looks like. Started by Devon Lévesque just outside NYC, it’s a working community farm where you can hang with goats, plunge into cold tubs, and hit a hyperbaric chamber… all before picking your own dinner.
Picture this: longevity barns, communal saunas, co-working in a cosy farmhouse, and actual dirt under your fingernails. It's giving wholesome hustle meets barefoot biohacker.
Our take: In a world of hyper-curated self-care, Sweet Honey is giving us permission to get messy, get grounded, and call it wellness.

📱 Apple Just Dropped an AI Workout Buddy — Siri’s Sporty Sister?
At this year’s WWDC, Apple unveiled Apple Intelligence, with new fitness features like personalised workout tips, rep tracking, and real-time form feedback — essentially, your own AI coach baked into your devices. It’s the latest move in the race to turn wearables into wellness copilots, with WHOOP, Oura, and Garmin also chasing the gold.
Our Thoughts: Fun? Yes. Fully there yet? Not quite. AI coaching still feels more concept than companion — it can track your reps, sure, but it can’t read your vibe or guilt-trip you into finishing that last set. 🤖🍏💪

🏠 Ultrahuman Wants to Biohack Your Entire Home
Already tracking your glucose, sleep, and HRV? Ultrahuman’s going bigger - like house-sized bigger. The brand just launched Ultrahuman Home, a real-time indoor health monitor that measures CO₂, PM2.5, VOCs, humidity, light, and temperature — basically turning your living room into a wellness lab. The goal? Help users optimise their home environment for better metabolic health, sleep, and cognitive function — all via a device that looks like it belongs in a high-design showroom.
Our take: Analysing our surroundings is an underrated pillar of well-being — and honestly, one most people forget. So a tool that helps us breathe better, sleep deeper, and live sharper? We’re here for it.

🧪 RESEARCH SPOTLIGHT

🥛 Probiotics for Brain Gains
Turns out, your gut bugs might be doing more than just digestion. A recent umbrella review found that probiotic therapy may enhance cognitive function — while also lowering markers of inflammation and insulin resistance. The effect size was modest but statistically significant, suggesting a real brain-boosting benefit.
That said, researchers noted that the overall quality of evidence varies, and larger, more rigorous clinical trials are needed.
Our take: Promising? Yes. Definitive? Not quite. But your morning kefir might be sharper than you think — and definitely worth a spot in your brain health lineup. 🧠🦠

🔮 TREND TO WATCH

The Future of Wellness is Personal (and Hopefully, Accessible)

We’re entering the era of precision everything — where routines aren’t built on trends, but on your biology. From gut-sensing toilets to AI sleep coaches and home environment monitors, wellness is going full data mode. But unlike the rigid biohacking of old, this wave is about making things intuitive, outcome-driven, and actually useful. Case in point: Remedy Place (the OG social wellness club) just launched Meridian, a diagnostics platform tracking 600+ biomarkers to guide custom recovery and performance plans. Meanwhile, Therabody is syncing with Garmin to personalise recovery based on your daily stress, and Equinox is using functional lab testing to shape smarter training.
Our take: The more we personalise, the more powerful (and sustainable) wellness becomes. But as this tech grows, we hope it grows outward — becoming more affordable, more accessible, and more inclusive. Because feeling better shouldn’t just be for the 1%. 🧬📊💡
