Sunset views behind us, wellness scrolls ahead... let’s catch you up ☕♡
Your weekly dose of what's hot, what's healing, and what's actually worth leaving the house for!
Hi lovely,
We’re back from our incredible retreat in Ibiza - sun-soaked, restored, and hearts so very full after a few magical days with the most inspiring group of women.

The Best Retreat Crew!
And while we’re still gently re-entering, we’re also diving into a theme that’s been coming up again and again lately: smart longevity.
As I (Harriet) prepare to enter my fourth decade, I’ve realised that thriving at 40+ isn’t just about adding more candles to the cake - it’s about tuning into what’s really going on underneath. Your nervous system, your hormones, your blood sugar… it all matters. (Side note - I’ve recently been working Roshani Hill, a women’s health coach who specialises in hormonal transitions. Highly recommend if you’re in or approaching that season of life..or just feel like your hormones are freelancing!)
It’s part of a bigger shift we’re seeing everywhere: preventative health is having a moment. From full-body scans to smarter wearables and chewable supplements, more of us are tuning into how we feel before things fall apart.
But if this past week reminded us of anything, it’s that connection is still the best medicine. The laughter, the late night chats, the honest conversations… they matter just as much as the tech and testing.
So this week’s Wellness Drop is serving up both: the latest in future forward wellness and some beautiful local happenings - because lets be honest, feeling good is always better with a little company.
Scroll on for what’s trending, what’s launching, and where to show up for yourself this week 💌
Big love,
Harriet + Katie x

📍 Glazed Aesthetics, SOTA Salon
When your hair’s been through it, this is the reset it didn’t know it needed.
Tucked inside SOTA salon, this Korean scalp detox is part ritual, part science. It kicks off with a microscopic scalp analysis (equal parts grim and fascinating), followed by a steamy, heavenly head massage and a full 15-step treatment that lifts, detoxes, and revives tired strands from the root up.
The space is chic, serene, and the vibe? Total indulgence. We stayed for hours, added the signature glass facial, and left with cleaner-than-clean hair and a glow to match. Oh, and the matcha? Game changer.
This one’s for the stressed scalps, the snap-prone hair, and anyone in need of a serious beauty reset.

🏛️ INDUSTRY TRENDS AND NEWS
🌼 Preventative Health Is Having a Moment
From wearables to full body scans, proactive wellness is officially in its main character era - and Neko Health is leading the charge. Co-founded by Spotify’s Daniel Ek, the brand just announced a UK-wide rollout of its non-invasive, AI-supported health scans. Think early detection for skin conditions, heart health, and more - in under 20 minutes. Rumour has it: Neko’s headed to Dubai soon… and yes, we’re already refreshing the waitlist page.

💨 Fart Walking Is a (Real) Thing Now
Leave it to TikTok to rebrand a post-meal stroll into a full on gut health movement. Fart walking - yes, that’s the actual term - is trending for its digestive perks, with creators (and now even doctors) swearing by a gentle walk to help reduce bloating, release trapped gas, and get things... flowing. With Dubai temps already hitting “do I really need groceries?” levels, this might be your sign to swap outdoor laps for a few glamorous laps around the living room instead. No judgment, just digestion.
Our thoughts? It may sound ridiculous, but your gut doesn’t care what it’s called - only that you move.

⌚ WHOOP Vs Oura: The Longevity Wearable Showdown
Longevity isn’t just a trend - it’s a tech race, and both WHOOP and Oura are sprinting toward the future. WHOOP 5.0 just dropped some seriously upgraded features, including smarter recovery insights and a slick collab with Mercedes-AMG F1. It’s designed to help you thrive well into your 70s - and look cool doing it. Meanwhile, Oura isn’t backing down. The ring now syncs with Dexcom’s Stelo continuous glucose monitor, giving users real-time insight into how sleep, stress, and movement affect blood sugar. It’s a bold (and very metabolic) move.
Hot Take: I’ve (Hi, Harriet here!) been a loyal Oura girl, but WHOOP is definitely starting to flirt.

🧵 Gummies Are Getting Serious
Supplements? Chew on this. Gummies now make up 23% of supplement sales, with 38% of Gen Z and 30% of millennials choosing chewables over capsules. From creatine to collagen, longevity to libido - chewables are having a full-blown glow-up. Next up? Non-prescription GLP-1 gummies (yes, really) - and demand is climbing fast.
Punchline: Foundational nutrition and functional benefits… but make it fun.

🧘♀️ Lululemon’s Seamless (and Hopefully PFAS-Free) Era
Big win for the girlies: Lululemon just announced they’re removing the front seam from their leggings. Yes, that front seam. A collective sigh of relief from pelvic floors everywhere. The brand has faced some controversy in recent years after PFAS (“forever chemicals”) were found in their Align leggings. In response, they pledged to phase them out by the end of 2024 - and we’re hoping this is just one of several thoughtful updates to come.
Our thoughts? We’re loving the smoother silhouette — and keeping an eye on the materials
📖 Watch the update
🥔 Big food’s finally getting the memo. PepsiCo just announced it's phasing out artificial ingredients - including petroleum-based dyes (yes, really) - from products like Lay’s and Tostitos by the end of 2025. That’s two years ahead of the FDA’s deadline and a pretty major shift for the snack aisle.
Our take? Finally, a little progress we can snack on.

🧪 RESEARCH SPOTLIGHT
🦠 Lactoferrin for Gut Health
Move over, probiotics -there’s a not-so-new gut health hero making waves. Lactoferrin, a naturally occurring protein found in milk, is gaining attention for its ability to support immune function and gut microbiota balance. New research suggests it may help reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, encourage healthy bacteria, and even support iron absorption - all without the bloaty side effects of some gut supplements.
The best part? It’s showing real promise for sensitive systems and inflammatory gut conditions.

🔮 TREND TO WATCH
📵 Analog Wellness Is Having Its Main Character Moment Step aside, screens. From sensory spaces to slow-living rituals, analog wellness is becoming 2025’s biggest shift - and brands are paying attention. Coined by the Global Wellness Summit, the term marks a move away from all-things-virtual and toward real-life, tactile, tech-free experiences. Think curated pop-ups, branded run clubs, guided breathwork sessions, and community workouts — wellness that’s rooted in presence, not pixels. The shift isn’t just cultural, it’s strategic. Wellness brands are leaning in hard, turning what used to live online into IRL connection moments.
The vibe? Unplugged, unfiltered, and a whole lot more human.
